GDA Companion Animal/Equine program is limited to investigating animal related businesses that are licensed or required to be licensed under the Georgia Animal Protect Act, or Bird Dealer’s licensing Act. Complaints of animal cruelty, or neglect should be submitted to your local law enforcement agency and can be submitted to Georgia Department of Agriculture Law Enforcement Division at gdalawenforcement@agr.georgia.com. For lost or straying animals, contact your local animal control agency. See our page with details on how to submit an animal cruelty report.
We cannot share information about ongoing investigations. Once our investigation is complete, you can view the outcome by submitting an open records request.
