Georgia Wine & Grape Commission

Grapes. Growth. Georgia. Welcome to the Georgia Wine & Grape Commission - championing Georgia’s rapidly growing wine and grape industry through funding, research, promotion, and producer representation.

About the Georgia Wine & Grape Commission

The Georgia Wine & Grape Commission was established by the Georgia General Assembly in 2020 (HB 1093), after leadership from the Georgia wine industry. The Commission is governed by five producer-appointed members representing North, Central, and South Georgia, plus two at-large seats. Terms range from two to three years, with reappointment opportunities.

Our Mission

“To strengthen Georgia’s wine and grape industry by:

  • Administering a producer-funded assessment (once approved),
  • Investing in research, education, and promotion,
  • Advocating on behalf of vineyards and wineries across Georgia.”
