Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc., a Portland, Ore., establishment, is expanding its Feb. 19, 2026, recall of frozen not ready-to-eat (NRTE) chicken products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically glass, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The establishment is recalling approximately 33,617,045 additional pounds of various ready-to-eat (RTE) and NRTE chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and shu mai dumpling products, for a combined total of 36,987,575 pounds subject to recall.
This expansion includes 16 products produced between October 21, 2024, and February 26, 2026, under brand names Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe’s. These products have best-by dates ranging from February 28, 2026, through August 19, 2027.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number P-18356, P-18356B, or P-47971 inside the USDA mark of inspection. The items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. Certain Ajinomoto items were exported to Canada and Mexico.
The problem was discovered when the establishment notified FSIS that it received multiple consumer complaints involving glass found in product. Upon further investigation, the establishment determined that a vegetable source ingredient, specifically carrots, was the likely source of the glass contamination, which also impacted the additional products subject to this expanded recall.
There have been no confirmed reports of injury due to consumption of this product. Anyone concerned about an injury should contact a healthcare provider.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in retailers’ or consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. FSIS Public Health Alert: Ready-To-Eat Beef Jerky Products (03/02/2026)
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for beef jerky products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. The products may contain soy lecithin, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase.
The ready-to-eat beef jerky items bear best by dates of February 17, 2027 or prior. The following products subject to the public health alert are [view labels]:
- 6-oz. plastic packages containing "DRIED HAWAIIAN STYLE BEEF CRISPS, ORIGINAL SALT & PEPPER FLAVOR", and bearing establishment number "EST. 2625" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
- 4-oz. plastic packages containing "PUNAHELE JERKY COMPANY INC UNCLE K'S BEEF CRISPS".
- 4-oz. plastic packages containing "PUNAHELE JERKY COMPANY INC KILAUEA FIRE SPICY BEEF CRISPS".
These items were distributed to retail stores in Hawaii and sold via online sales nationwide.
The problem was discovered during a routine FSIS label review.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a health care provider.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers' pantries. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Stuckey’s Corporation (03/02/2026)
Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper has announced that Stuckey’s Corporation, based in Wrens, Georgia, is voluntarily recalling select pecan log roll products due to a labeling error. Specifically, “Cherry Pecan Log Roll” items were mistakenly packaged in “Original Pecan Log Roll” wrappers that failed to list cherry as an ingredient.
“Protecting the safety and well-being of Georgians remains our top priority, and we are grateful the establishment pro-actively alerted us to the potential issue so we could take corrective action,” said Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper. “Our food safety team works with state, federal, and industry partners to identify potential risks, respond swiftly when issues arise, and ensure that products on store shelves are safe, wholesome, and held to the highest standards.”

Savannah Bee Company (03/02/2026)
Savannah Bee Company is recalling their HONEY BBQ SAUCE- MUSTARD, 16FL OZ B1L1360525 Best Before 05/16/27 UPC 8 50033 93758 9 due undeclared wheat and soy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat or soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the honey BBQ sauce-mustard.
This product was shipped nationwide to distribution centers, retail stores and consumers between 7/30/2025- 2/26/2026. These products were packaged in clear glass bottles with an orange Honey BBQ Sauce Mustard Label with the lot number and best before date etched on the neck of the bottle.
All jars of honey with a “Honey BBQ Sauce-Mustard” Label with batch code B1L1360525 must be disposed of immediately as they may contain the “Honey BBQ Sauce-Sweet”. Please see the photos included below of affected products.
The recall was initiated after the company was notified by a customer that the Honey BBQ Sauce - Sweet was mis-labeled with a “Honey BBQ Sauce-Mustard” label. Subsequent investigation discovered the mislabeled products failed to include the allergens wheat and soy in the ingredient statement that is contained in the Honey BBQ Sauce-Sweet.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to dispose of the product and request a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact customer service at 800-955-5080 M-F 8AM-5PM EST.

Rosina Food Products, Inc. (02/23/2026)
Rosina Food Products, Inc., a West Seneca, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 9,462 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) frozen meatball products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The RTE fully cooked frozen meatball products were produced on July 30, 2025. The following products subject to the recall are [view labels]:
- 32-oz. printed poly film bag packages of fully cooked frozen “Bremer FAMILY SIZE ITALIAN STYLE MEATBALLS” containing “about 64 meatballs per package” with “BEST BY” date of “10/30/26” with timestamps between 17:08 through 18:20 printed on the back of the label.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 4286B” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The affected products have a 15-month shelf-life and were shipped to Aldi supermarket locations nationwide.
The problem was discovered after FSIS received a consumer complaint regarding metal fragments found within the product.

Elite Treats, LLC (02/23/2026)
Elite Treats, LLC of Boca Raton, FL, is recalling a single lot of “Elite Treats Chicken Chips for Dogs” (6oz) because it may be contaminated with Salmonella. The product is packaged in a six (6) ounce bag marked with the lot number 24045 and an expiration date of 04/2027. The recalled product was distributed to feed stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Salmonella can cause illness to both pets and humans exposed to the product. This pathogen can be contracted through handling contaminated products, contact with pets who have consumed the recalled product, and contact with surfaces that may have touched the product, such as bowls, utensils, or countertops. To reduce the risk of human illness from Salmonella, ensure that proper handwashing techniques are followed and contaminated surfaces are cleaned and disinfected.
Go Raw, LLC (02/23/2026)
Go Raw, LLC of Boca Raton, FL, is expanding its February 17th, 2026, voluntary recall of a freeze-dried product to include two lots of select “Quest Cat Food Chicken Recipe Frozen Diet” (2lb) due to potentially low levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1). The products are packaged in 2lb bags marked with the lot numbers MCD25350 and MCC25321 and expiration dates of 6/16/2027 and 5/17/2027, respectively. The expanded recalled products were distributed through retail stores in the following states: CO, UT, WA, OR, PA, RI, MI, CA, TX, IL, GA, NC, SC, FL, MN, NY, OH, WI, PA, ID, & MT.
Saputo Cheese USA Inc. (02/23/2026)
Saputo Cheese USA Inc. (SUSA or Saputo) is voluntarily recalling select cottage cheese products produced by SUSA due to the possibility of liquid dairy ingredients used in the items not being fully pasteurized according to state regulatory standards.
While no illnesses or hospitalizations associated with the recalled products have been reported to date, consuming products that are not fully pasteurized can pose a significant health risk, especially to the young and elderly or immunocompromised individuals.
The issue was discovered during pasteurizer troubleshooting exercises conducted by SUSA in conjunction with the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
The affected products were sold under the Great Value label and were distributed to Walmart stores and distribution centers in Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Washington and Wyoming between February 17 and February 20, 2026, and include:

All products were sold in white plastic tubs with white lids. The “Best By’ dates are located on the side of the lids. Please see attached photos for ease of identification.
The impacted pasteurizer was returned to normal function and was verified and sealed by the California Department of Food and Agriculture. No other products produced in the facility were affected.

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc., a Portland, Ore. establishment, is recalling approximately 3,370,530 pounds of frozen not ready-to-eat (NRTE) chicken fried rice products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically glass, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The NRTE chicken fried rice items were produced between September 8, 2025, and November 17, 2025. The following products are subject to recall [view labels]:
- 1.53-kg. cardboard packages containing 6 bags of frozen “AJINOMOTO YAKITORI CHICKEN WITH JAPANESE-STYLE FRIED RICE” with BEST BEFORE/MEILLEUR AVANT dates 26 SE 09 through 26 NO 12.
- 20-oz. (1 lb. 4 oz.) plastic bag packages containing frozen “TRADER JOE’S Chicken Fried Rice with stir fried rice, vegetables, seasoned dark chicken meat and eggs” with BEST BY dates 9/8/2026 through 11/17/2026.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number P-18356 inside the USDA mark of inspection. The Trader Joe’s item was shipped to Trader Joe’s retail locations nationwide. The Ajinomoto item was exported only to Canada.

Initiative Foods (02/16/2026)
IF Copack LLC d.b.a. Initiative Foods (“Initiative Foods”) is recalling one lot of the “Tippy Toes” brand Apple Pear Banana Fruit puree (“Product”) due to elevated levels of patulin. Patulin is a naturally occurring substance (called a mycotoxin) which is produced by molds that may grow in various fruits, including apples. Long-term exposure resulting from ingestion of patulin can lead to various adverse health consequences, including a potential for immune suppression, nerve damage, headache, fever, and nausea. No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.
The Product was distributed nationwide in retail grocery stores in all U.S. states other than Alaska. The Product may have been distributed in the U.S. territories of Guam and Puerto Rico.

The “Best By” (expiration) date is found on the bottom of each plastic tub. The recalled Product will have a date stamped as “BB 07/17/2026.” The package is also marked with the package code “INIA0120” as shown below:
The recalled Product was sampled under the Total Diet Study by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), which found elevated patulin levels higher than is common for these products. Initiative Foods worked with FDA to identify the single lot to recall due to possible health concerns identified in this notice.
This recall is being conducted based on FDA’s recommendation.
Action for Consumer
Consumers with the Product matching the “Best By” (expiration) date of July 17, 2026 should:
- Discontinue use of the Product and dispose of it immediately or return to their place of purchase for a refund.
- Contact their healthcare provider if concerns arise regarding health after consumption of the Product.
Action for Retailers
Retailers should check inventory and shelves, and immediately remove the affected lot from sale or distribution and catalogue the recalled product.
