ALBANY, GA — Tomorrow, April 9, 2026, join Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper, Albany Mayor Bo Dourough, and Jana Dyke, President & CEO of the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission, to officially launch the Georgia Grown Resource Center in Albany. This new center—established through a partnership between the Georgia Department of Agriculture and the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission—will serve as a hub to support agricultural producers and related businesses across Southwest Georgia.

Join Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper, Albany Mayor Bo Dourough, and partners to celebrate the grand opening of the Albany Georgia Grown Resource Center—the second of nine planned centers across the state.
The event will highlight the positive impact this center will have on Georgia’s number one industry and its vital role in strengthening the agricultural community across Southwest Georgia.
Designed to connect producers, processors, food manufacturers, agritourism operators, and other agriculture-related businesses, the facility will provide valuable resources to increase visibility, expand market access, and support long-term growth.
